Hello! My name is Elea Lutz and I am the designer behind the playful toiletries and giftware company, Nostalgia. My love for art and design began as a child. I was often found drawing on scraps of paper, sewing doll clothes or making gifts for loved ones. Even as an adult, I still have my hand in some type of creative medium almost daily.
The idea for developing a line of organic personal care products began during my first pregnancy. My interest in natural health expands over a decade, but it was during my pregnancy that I became more conscious of some of the harmful ingredients lurking in food and personal care products. This journey led me to creating some of my own natural skincare remedies. And, with that inner artist always emerging, I would store my mixtures in decorative bottles and papers I designed myself.
Noticing a void in the marketplace of high-quality and stylish organic personal care products, my family encouraged me to share the products I created. Nostalgia was ultimately born and is truly the collaboration of my efforts towards a healthy lifestyle and lifelong passion for art, design and sensible old-world values.
Nostalgia has gained a wonderful fan base through the years and has resulted in many unexpected opportunities. After dozens of requests to purchase the colorful papers and textiles that house the Nostalgia toiletries line, I extended the brand to include 100% cotton quilting weight fabric and recycled gift papers.
Watching Nostalgia grow into a lifestyle brand is much like a dream. I am so thankful for our customers and fans and hope to continue to navigate the business in new directions each year.

In addition to her toiletries collection for Nostalgia, Elea focuses her creativity on packaging, textiles and surface designs inspired by children, botanicals and old-world charm. Elea also enjoys working on special projects and licensing opportunities with like-minded companies.
As a wife and mother of two small boys, in Elea's down time, she can usually be found in the midst of messy finger painting, crafting paper airplanes or doodling bugs and other icky things.
